Only If I Had Some Time

There are several things that I wish to blog about...Only if I had some time.

My trip to Korea,

The Saddleback Church event -on what happened

There is upcoming MPAK Picnic this Saturday May 26th at the Laguna Niguel Regional Park, CA.

There is also un upcoming joint event with MPAK and the LA Korean Philharmonic Orchestra (LAKPO) that will have "Beethoven Night" at the Disney Concert Hall on July 31st to raise funds for MPAK.

Especially I wish to blog on the changes in the adoption law in Korea and what it means...

I am still looking for time to sit down and write...Only if I had some time.

Just hang on...I'll get there.

Thanks to all who responded and wished me well on my trip to Korea.

Steve

  3. Thank you, Steve, for your energy and efforts to advocate for children and families relative to Korean adoptions. As you prioritize your time and blogging topics, hopefully, your observations about the change in adoption laws in Korea and an update on the current status of exit permits' process will be primary...such would be greatly appreciated. All for the children...

  6. Are the EPs still coming out ? Seems as though things have slowed to a crawl. And for What?
so the kids can get older and have a harder adjustment and more trauma. Anyone with more optimism ?
we all just want the kids to get to there homes asap.

    1. A batch was just approved last week, and there was a submittal on Monday. There is even word of 2 June submittals. Things are definitely moving! :)

  8. Hi Steve,

There has been an agency that has said that there will be no EP submissions in the months of July/August. ESWS just took a large batch and Holt hasn't submitted yet. Should we anticipate Holt submitting and both agencies actually approving the batches in 4 weeks? Or are we looking at a repeat of last summer? Another 3 month delay? ...I'm not sure that many of us can take it. We are desperate for information and all pretty stressed. Can you help us understand what is happening and possibly speak about the new law? Our understanding was that Korea was taking double batches in March/April and allowing submissions each month until the quota was hit.

Thank you for advocating for families and children.

  9. Steve,
Is there any truth to no submissions for July and August of 2012? I have holding out on complete faith that this is just a rumor and God is moving mountains for all the waiting families this summer... we are praying to be in Korea in August!!
